Question 1

What is Authorix?

Accepted Answer

Authorix is the Human Authority Index of the Internet. We index the one per cent of the web that originates what the rest repeats, then follow what those people publish, so you can read what the authorities on a subject are saying now rather than the coverage of it that follows days later. The scores behind that (objective, per topic, across platforms) are what makes the ranking possible, and they are available on their own for verifying who actually knows what.

Question 2

How is the authority score calculated?

Accepted Answer

The authority score measures how actively peers and audiences recognize someone as an expert on a topic, based on cross-platform engagement and community signals, not follower counts alone. It reflects online recognition, not credentials, so a highly credentialed but less active figure can score lower than a smaller, highly engaged niche voice.

Question 3

Who is Authorix for?

Accepted Answer

Authorix is for anyone whose work depends on what the people who know a subject are saying about it right now: journalists reaching a source before the coverage exists, analysts and investors reading a sector through the people inside it, communications and research teams tracking a subject through the people who originate it, and developers retrieving that same material through the API or the MCP server. The verification side (checking whether a person actually has authority in their claimed domain) is the second half of the same index.

Question 4

What kinds of question is Authorix good at?

Accepted Answer

Questions whose answer depends on who is answering. Contested evidence, where a page ranking tells you nothing and the name on the claim tells you everything ("GLP-1 and muscle mass loss evidence"). Anything that happened in the last few hours, where the coverage does not exist yet and the source has already posted. Lists of people or organisations ("neuro-ophthalmologists publishing on NAION", "private equity firms in the Netherlands"). Local and non-English subjects, because authority is local long before it is global. Questions that affiliate pages and generated filler have taken over, where asking who actually publishes on the subject returns people instead. And ambiguous single words, where who publishes on it settles which meaning you meant. Where it gives you the source rather than the answer: most of the long tail is a fact in someone else's database, and that somebody is usually an organisation we have indexed, so a question about opening hours or a fare returns whoever holds the fact rather than the fact itself. What stays out of reach is narrower: live and transactional data that changes by the minute, and one-off technical faults whose answer sits in a single thread. A subject with no history also has nobody to rank yet. Ask us first and fall back on a search engine for the rest.

Question 5

How do you have it before the news does?

Accepted Answer

Because we read the source rather than the coverage of the source. An authority publishes before the article about them exists: the researcher posts the result, the analyst posts the thread, and the piece covering it follows hours or days later, if anyone writes it at all. There is a second reason underneath it. A full-web crawler has to decide how often to revisit a billion pages, so any page comes round on a cycle measured in days; our surface is far smaller and we know whose it is, so the accounts that matter are watched continuously.

Question 6

Do I get the people, or what they said?

Accepted Answer

Both, and they are the same index seen from two ends. The content is the product: what the authorities on your subject published, ranked by who published it. The people behind it are available on their own, as identity-resolved profiles with per-topic authority scores, through Explore, Verify, the REST API and the MCP server. Knowing who the authorities are is the foundation; what they just said is what you came for.

Question 7

What is Pulse, and where is it?

Accepted Answer

Pulse is the homepage. Type a subject and you get what the authorities on it have published recently, who they are, and a written briefing of what it adds up to, with every claim carrying the name of whoever stands behind it. It used to live on its own page; it is the main surface now. Your saved topics and their alerts live in the dashboard, under Topics and Alerts.

Question 8

How do I verify someone using Authorix?

Accepted Answer

Go to the Verify page and enter the person's name or social handle. Authorix will return their authority profile, including their score, areas of expertise, platform presence, and credibility signals, within seconds.

Question 9

Accepted Answer

Question 10

How does the pricing work?
